President Uhuru Kenyatta's approval rating has hit an all-time low, with a recent online poll by Mutahi Ngunyi's The 5th Estate revealing a mere 14% approval rate.
Conducted among 18,000 participants, the poll showed that a staggering 67% did not support Uhuru's presidency, sparking concerns about the president's future.
According to Mutahi Ngunyi, the situation is likely to worsen, with the columnist stating, 'The question is not whether the impeachment will happen, the question is WHEN it will happen.'
Published on September 28, 2018, Ngunyi's tweet sparked a heated debate about Uhuru's leadership and the potential for impeachment.
As the country grapples with feelings of betrayal and disillusionment, Uhuru's leadership is under increasing scrutiny. In a bid to turn the tide, the president must take bold steps to address the concerns of the people.
As Mutahi Ngunyi aptly put it, 'Justice is for the rich, the law is for the poor. By giving justice to the rich and law to the poor, you ferment revolution.'
