Research indicates that the likelihood of infidelity can vary across different professions. While individual personality and circumstances like opportunity and availability play a role, some fields may have a higher incidence of cheating.

According to the findings, individuals with greater financial resources and those in positions of power may be more prone to infidelity. Additionally, jobs that involve frequent interactions with new people may also increase the likelihood of cheating.

  1. Banking and Financial Services: This sector reportedly has one of the highest rates of infidelity, with both men and women in the industry being more likely to cheat.
  2. Managers and HR Personnel
  3. Engineering and IT
  4. Entertainers: This category includes DJs, musicians, news anchors, and similar professionals.
  5. Stay-at-Home Mothers: Although not traditionally considered a profession, this role is recognized as a valuable occupation.
