Students at the University of Nairobi have burned a tree planted by former US President Barack Obama in 2006.
The students had earlier threatened to burn the tree, among other actions, if Obama did not visit their institution during his trip to Kenya.
According to reports, Obama is scheduled to lecture at Kenyatta University instead.
