Raila Odinga and The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) rejected a proposal by President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a Joint Select Committee of Parliament. This committee was intended to spearhead dialogue on issues surrounding the IEBC.
CORD’s rejection throws President Uhuru’s plan into disarray. It came just hours after Jubilee nominated eleven members to the committee.
