Ouma Oluga, secretary general of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU), has come under scrutiny for comments allegedly made on Facebook in 2014.
The posts, which surfaced online after Oluga's release from prison, warn the Kikuyu community of a potential Rwanda-style revolution in Kenya's future.
However, some have disputed the authenticity of these posts, suggesting they may be the work of a group called Uthamaki aiming to tarnish Oluga's reputation for advocating for doctors' rights.
Critics point out that some of the posts are dated back to 1992, before Facebook existed, further casting doubt on their legitimacy.
Oliver Mathenge, a journalist from The Star, has been implicated in creating fake Facebook posts to portray Oluga as a tribal bigot.
The recovered account cited reporting by Ghafla.
