Kenya Airways Flight Canceled After Passenger Dies Onboard

A Kenya Airways flight was canceled on Wednesday, February 8, after a passenger suddenly died on the plane at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The flight, bound for Mombasa, was scheduled to depart at 1:40 pm. According to reports, the passenger, a man in his late 60s, was traveling with his family when he became ill and died.

Passengers stated that the man appeared unwell and was assisted by ground crew and staff before boarding the plane. The incident occurred on board flight KQ 606.

The elderly man died at around 1:30 pm, and police took his body away from the plane. The cancellation of the flight left dozens of passengers stranded at the airport.
