Nairobi County Police Boss, Benson Kibue, announced the list of roads to be closed to the public during United States President Barack Obama's three-day visit to Nairobi.
The following roads will be closed on Friday at 2 pm: Mombasa Road, Uhuru Highway, and Waiyaki Way.
On Saturday, the affected roads will include Thika Road, Limuru Road, and Waiyaki Way.
According to Kibue, over 10,000 police officers have been deployed to provide security in Nairobi during President Obama's stay, working alongside United States security personnel to ensure safety and security during the visit.
Kenyans were urged to cooperate with security officers and avoid attending functions that are invitation-only.
