Saudi Arabian authorities have arrested 29 Kenyan women and three Pakistani nationals in connection with a brothel in Riyadh city.
The arrests were made after police raided a building in the AlDar AlBaida neighborhood, initially targeting an illegal liquor den. According to The Riyadh Daily, the raid also uncovered a makeshift liquor factory and a brothel.
The Riyadh Daily reported that an initial search of the building revealed a makeshift factory for producing liquor. The Pakistani nationals were allegedly running the business, while the Kenyan women were engaged in prostitution.
Riyadh Police spokesman Col. Fawaz Al-Mayman stated that the accused are in police custody prior to transferring them to the competent authority for further investigations and filing of charges.
