Physically disabled children from various schools in the Western region received donations of wheelchairs and elbow crutches from the Rotary Club of Milimani, the EFC team, and SportPesa.

The donations were made on Friday, 17 February 2017, at Nyaburi Primary School in Kendu Bay, and also at Solyo grounds.

The EFC Basketball Tournament, which was held in December 2016, was dedicated to supporting the Rotary Club of Milimani in acquiring wheelchairs and elbow crutches for children with disabilities in Shinyalu, Kakamega, and Kendu Bay.

The donations were made possible through the winning proceeds from the tournament and the collection of gate fees.

Home visits were also conducted to donate wheelchairs to individual homes.

EFC, which was created by a group of like-minded individuals, aims to provide a safe and positive environment for young people while raising funds for charitable organizations.

EFC partners with local communities to run a basketball program every weekend, and hosts a tournament every two months to benefit a charity home of their choice.

SportPesa is a corporate sponsor of the EFC basketball tournament, which has benefited many Kenyans through its charitable cause.
