A 17-year-old girl is receiving medical attention at a hospital in Nakuru after her father allegedly impregnated her for the second time.
According to Angela Gwaro, the Medical Officer in charge of the Gender Recovery Unit at the hospital, the girl was rescued after a tip-off from members of the public.
The girl, a Form Two student, is now four months pregnant. Her father, who has four children, allegedly colluded with his wife to terminate the girl's first pregnancy last year. He continued to sexually abuse the girl until she became pregnant again in February.
The father allegedly threatened to kill the girl if she revealed their secret to anyone. Both parents are currently being held at Nakuru Central Police Station.

The girl will be taken to a rescue home where she will stay until she gives birth.
