About the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is a corporate body established under the Statistics Act (2006). It serves as the principal Government agency responsible for collecting, compiling, analyzing, publishing, and disseminating official statistical information, as well as maintaining its custody. Additionally, KNBS oversees the coordination, supervision, and development of programs within the National Statistical System.
