Man Dies on Kenya Airways Plane Before Takeoff

A 65-year-old man died aboard a Kenya Airways plane on Wednesday afternoon, just minutes before the scheduled takeoff for Mombasa.

The flight, KQ 606, which was set to depart at 1:40 pm, was subsequently canceled.

According to reports, the man was traveling with his family and appeared unwell when he boarded the plane. He required assistance from staff and ground crew. The man passed away at approximately 1:30 pm.

Following the incident, police arrived at the scene and removed the body from the aircraft.

The cancellation of the flight left numerous passengers stranded in the Transit Lounge at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
