Her Story ¶
Kyalo shared her story, saying:
On the 6th of August 2005, I nearly lost my life after being hit by a matatu in the CBD. I sustained serious injuries... I stayed in hospital for 2 months and underwent 8 corrective surgeries. I learnt how to walk again like a child and had to deal with the scars which was the hardest thing as a teenage girl.
She expressed gratitude to her loved ones, including her mother Julia Ngii, who supported her throughout her recovery. Kyalo also thanked her friends, doctors, and nurses at Kenyatta National Hospital's Private Wing for their care and assistance.
Kyalo's experience serves as a reminder of the importance of appreciating every moment of life. As she said:
Life is precious!
