Embattled Bishop James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Center was involved in a car crash at Gitaru in Kiambu County.
According to reports, Ng’ang’a's BMW X6 hit a matatu. Witnesses allege he attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by passengers from the matatu who blocked the road.
Ng’ang’a was then taken to the Kikuyu Police Station where he recorded a statement. There are allegations that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
