A student at Kabianga University, identified as Edwin Mogaka, has died by suicide after losing Sh 20,000 to Sportpesa, according to the original account.
Edwin Mogaka, reportedly an avid follower of the English Premier League, had placed a bet on a match between Chelsea and Everton, depositing Sh 20,000 via M-Pesa to Sportpesa. However, the outcome of the match did not favor his bet, with Everton scoring two goals.
