A hotel in Nigeria's Anambra State was shut down after authorities discovered it was allegedly selling human meat.

According to the statement, police found two recently severed human heads at the hotel.

Following a tip from the public, police arrested 11 people, including the hotel's owner.

During the arrest, police also seized an AK-47, grenades, and several mobile phones.

The incident marks a rare instance of human meat being sold in a hotel, although claims of human meat consumption in Nigeria have been made before.
