A 26-year-old woman, Sharon Kitangi, has been arrested and taken to court for allegedly raping a 14-year-old class seven boy. According to the original account, Kitangi is accused of luring the boy into her house at Makadara in Nairobi, where she locked him inside and proceeded with the sexual assault.

The boy had been sent by his mother to run an errand when he met Kitangi, who insisted that he should pass by her house. The boy promised to pass by later, which is when the incident allegedly occurred.

In court, the young boy testified that Kitangi asked him to caress her breasts and allegedly paid him 200 shillings "for assisting her."

The victim's mother reported the incident to the police and took her son to the hospital for a medical check-up. The case is scheduled for a hearing on August 17, 2016.

The recovered account cited reporting by Kenyans.co.ke.
