Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi was injured after an altercation with police at a roadblock along the Eldoret-Nakuru road.
The incident prompted local residents to protest by blocking the highway, resulting in significant traffic congestion in the area.
According to the MP, the confrontation began when he was stopped for allegedly speeding. He claims that despite attempting to explain himself, three officers forced one of their colleagues to enter his vehicle, leading to a physical altercation during which the MP sustained injuries to his chest and legs.
