A concerned Kenyan, Martin Tairo, has questioned the judging criteria used in the popular weight loss program Slim Possible aired on Citizen TV.
This follows the conclusion of Slim Possible 6, where the winner received Ksh 1 million despite not being the contestant who lost the most weight.
According to the organizers, weight loss is not the only factor considered when selecting winners. However, Tairo argues that the competition's focus on slimming should mean that weight loss is the primary parameter.
Tairo suggests that the organizers should consider either the total weight lost or the percentage of weight lost, depending on the contestants' initial weights. He expresses concern that other factors, potentially influenced by personal preferences, may be unfairly influencing the outcome.
Tairo also jokingly remarks that if Citizen TV were to host a marathon, the winner might not be the runner who completes the race in the shortest time, but rather someone chosen based on unspecified 'other parameters'. He hopes that these parameters do not include tribal considerations.
