Former Mathare MP George Wanjohi has lost three family members in a tragic road accident.
Incident Details ¶
A trailer carrying a cargo container lost control, causing one of the containers to fall on an eight-seater private car, resulting in the deaths of six people.
Five people died instantly, while one succumbed to injuries this morning in hospital. Three of the deceased were relatives of former MP Wanjohi.
The victims were traveling from a funeral in Meru. The bodies are currently at the Kenyatta University Mortuary.
Response and Plans ¶
According to former MP Wanjohi, "We transported the bodies to Kenyatta University Mortuary this morning and we have already started to make burial plans for them."
