Match Details

Kenya, still seeking its first win in the tournament, started strongly with skipper Andrew Amonde scoring a try after dispossessing a Canadian player. However, the Canadians regained ground, scoring two tries in the first half to take the lead.

In the second half, changes made by Ochieng, including introducing Bush Mwale, Dan Sikuta, and Tonny Owuor, paid off as Mwale scored a try to reduce the deficit. Nevertheless, Canada's substitute Sean White sealed the win with a final try, resulting in a 21-10 score.
