A female student at Moi University's main campus in Eldoret was found dead near one of the hostels. The victim, believed to be a third-year student in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, was reportedly killed at the institution.
The incident occurred the previous night, and as of the report, no arrests had been made by the police.
Fear gripped female students upon learning of the incident, prompting them to call on the school administration to enhance student security.
