President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya experienced an unfortunate series of events during Ghana's Independence Day celebrations. The irony of the situation is notable, given that Uhuru's name translates to 'freedom' in Swahili.

According to reports, President Kenyatta was invited to attend the celebrations, which were intended to be a festive occasion. However, the event was marred by poor planning and judgment.

Initially, President Kenyatta was mistakenly identified as the President of Ghana. Furthermore, due to a lack of adequate arrangements, he was left without transportation and had to endure the intense Ghanaian sun for a period of time.

Jerry Rawlings, a former leader, reportedly intervened and distracted President Kenyatta from the mishaps, somewhat mitigating the situation.

The recovered account cited reporting by Mpasho.
