President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Kajiado Central constituency to support Jubilee Alliance Party candidate Patrick Tutui.
Earlier reports suggested the President would not campaign in person, following Deputy President William Ruto's withdrawal from the area, where polls indicated ODM candidate Memusi Kanchory was likely to win.
Uhuru made several campaign stops in the constituency, which has been without a parliamentary leader since Joseph Nkaissery joined the President's regime.
Patrick Tutui's candidacy for the Jubilee Alliance Party faces significant challenges due to a decline in party support within the constituency.
