A concerned shopper has raised alarm over the security situation at Taj Mall in Embakasi, citing unpaid guards who are on a go-slow.

The shopper, who emailed blogger Robert Alai, reported that the guards have not been paid for months and are no longer checking motorists entering the mall's basement, posing a significant security threat.

The shopper quoted the guards as saying they do not care about the potential risks, including terrorist attacks, due to their unpaid status.
