A group of comedians from Nakuru, known as Propesa, has created a humorous remix of Darassa’s song ‘Muziki’. The remix, titled ‘Murski’, uses the same beats as the original song and praises various Kenyan athletes, including Julius Yego, as well as mursik, a traditional milk delicacy important to the Kalenjin culture.

Propesa, composed of Kimutai Rono, Dennis Kipyegon, Kiprono Ruto, and Kipyegon Too, has gained popularity in recent months for their short skits on topics ranging from politics to sports, which they post on their Facebook page.

One notable skit remembered by netizens is their reaction to the 2016 KCSE results, where they jokingly called Deputy President William Ruto to intervene in the poor performance of students nationwide. They requested that he ask Majority Leader Aden Duale to convene a parliamentary session to discuss the potential removal of Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

The group’s decision to venture into music with their remix of ‘Muziki’ showcases their creativity and ability to produce entertaining content.
