On Monday evening, a group of youths in Kibera attempted to uproot a section of the railway line, protesting against the police's actions during anti-IEBC demonstrations in Nairobi, specifically the shooting at Cord leader Raila Odinga's car.
Tensions were high in Kibra, with residents protesting what they termed as a failed assassination attempt on Raila Odinga.
