A Kenyan woman working as a maid in Saudi Arabia was allegedly burned by her employer, according to reports. The incident occurred in April but only recently came to light.
The woman was reportedly caught sleeping with the employer's husband and, as a result, the employer poured hot water on her, causing severe burns.
There have been no reported actions taken against the employer, raising concerns about justice for the victim.
This incident is one of several cases where Kenyan women working abroad have faced traumatic experiences.
