A Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) official was arrested on Tuesday in possession of Sh865,100 in cash, which the suspect could not explain the source of.
County police boss Ben Kogo displayed the seized money. The incident occurred on April 7, 2015.
The arrest has raised concerns about potential graft in revenue collection, sparking speculation that the government might be losing significant funds.
