Chris Kirubi, founder Chairman and lifetime member of the Wazee Malaya Sacco, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Brand Kenya Board.
According to the statement, this appointment reflects the will of the people and is in line with the Jubilee Government’s vision of creating jobs for retirees and senior citizens. Others who were appointed include Francis Kimemia and retired Police Commissioner Hussein Ali.
Reaction from Team Mafisi ¶
Members of Team Mafisi have expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition for their group. Their chairman questioned why their members were not rewarded with state jobs, given that they are at par with Wazee Malaya in terms of promiscuity.
"As regards to promiscuity, Team Mafisi and Wazee Malaya are at par. Why can’t our members also be rewarded with state jobs?" their chairman asked.
Oliver Mathenge Expresses Disappointment ¶
The Star Newspaper reporter Oliver Mathenge has expressed disappointment over missing out on appointments, including the post of Government Spokesman that he had been promised years back.
"Why does Uhuru keep doing this to me? Is it coz I’m black?" Mathenge wondered.
It was suggested that Mathenge’s age and unpredictability may have been factors in the decision, as the regime prefers individuals whose growth and potential it can manage.
Other Jubilee Supporters Miss Out ¶
Other Jubilee supporters, including frustrated feminists Betty Waitherero and Njeri Thorne, also missed out on appointments. Many other Jubilee sycophants were similarly disappointed, and tonight is expected to be a good outing for bar owners as they cash in on frustrated individuals drowning their sorrows.
