Pressure is mounting on CORD leader Raila Odinga to address allegations of extortion related to the Dominion firms in Siaya county.

In a press briefing on Sunday, Jubilee leaders, led by National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, stated that Raila Odinga's name and that of his family were mentioned in a 22-page statement by Dominion Farms' CEO, Calvin Burgess. The leaders called on Odinga to break his silence on the matter.

The Jubilee leaders are demanding that investigative agencies, including the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), as well as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), launch an extensive investigation into the allegations. Aden Duale also urged the American Ambassador, Robert Godec, to comment on the matter.

Calvin Burgess had accused Raila Odinga of extorting campaign money from him.
