Investigative journalist Mohammed Ali has sparked speculation about his potential entry into politics after being listed as a speaker at an ODM youth convention in Mombasa.
The convention, dubbed 'Ujana Si Hukumu', is being attended by ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
Ali, known for his investigative news series Jicho Pevu on KTN, has previously been reported to be considering a run for the Nyali constituency parliamentary seat, currently held by Hezron Awiti.

Although Ali has not officially declared his political intentions, a Facebook page titled 'FRIENDS OF MOHA@jichopevu 2017' has been created to discuss his possible candidacy.
According to sources, Ali has recently met with former Prime Minister Odinga at his office, further fueling speculation about his political ambitions.
