A police station in Nairobi was attacked by armed gunmen on Monday night, according to reports. The gunmen targeted Mihang'o police station in Kayole, allegedly with the intention of stealing firearms.
However, officers at the station resisted the attack, engaging the gunmen in a fierce gun battle. They later received backup from the adjacent Kayole police station.
After being cornered, the gunmen attempted to escape. One was shot dead, while three others managed to flee. Kayole OCPD, Ali Nuno, confirmed the incident and stated that one suspect is in custody to aid in investigations.
