Akothee, a renowned Kenyan musician, hosted hundreds of children from her neighborhood at her home in Rongo County to celebrate Christmas. According to Akothee, she invited the children because she loves them and also pays their school fees.
"I once met them on the road next to my house when they were sent home for school fees at the beginning of this year and since then, we have been in touch and I pay fees for them."
Akothee has gained recognition in Rongo County for supporting the needy. She is set to host another event at her home, inviting celebrated local comedians.
