Robin Raey was let go due to allegations of coming to work drunk, consistent tardiness, and claims of misconduct. In a conversation, Raey acknowledged the allegations, stating that while she does drink and come to work drunk, she fulfills her job requirements. She disputed the claim of being late, citing that her show starts at 11 am and arriving one hour prior is not considered late.
However, the human resources department at Ghetto Radio provided a different account, describing Raey as dishonest and referencing an incident where she allegedly lied about her son's death when explaining an absence from work.
The conflict between Raey and the HR department has been ongoing, with the Managing Director declining to comment on the matter.
