Legendary comedian Mzee Ojwang has developed serious complications following a successful eye surgery, according to Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko. The 76-year-old actor, who suffers from diabetes, underwent eye surgery at Loresho hospital after Senator Sonko paid for his medical bills.
Senator Sonko stated that Mzee Ojwang was admitted to Nairobi Hospital for specialized medication but was discharged a few days ago. He expressed gratitude for the support Mzee Ojwang received through the Mkenya Kwa Mkenya Initiative, saying,
"Mzee Ojwang's successful treatment has all been through your continued prayers and support... Let us all keep up the spirit of uniting to fight curable diseases!!"
