A controversy surrounding city Pastor James Maina Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelist Ministries has been unfolding after a fatal collision occurred in Limuru on Sunday.
According to an eyewitness, Ng'ang'a was driving his red Range Rover, KCD 0600 Q, on the wrong side of the road when it collided head-on with another car. The vehicle was later towed to a nearby police station.
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has since changed the number plate of the Range Rover. It is alleged that the previous owner, Alex Kamweru, renounced ownership of the vehicle in a letter to NTSA on Thursday, following a local daily's report linking him to the Range Rover.
Kamweru claimed to have sold the vehicle to Harrison Nyota Ngunyi on November 22, 2013, who then sold it to Francis Ng'ang'a Mundia of Valley Road Motors.
