Bahati, known for his soft heart towards children, recently attended the burial of Charity, a young fan who succumbed to cancer. The two had met after Charity's mother reached out to Bahati on social media, asking him to visit her daughter, who was a big fan of the singer.
Bahati visited Charity at Kenyatta Hospital, where they took selfies and spent time together. Despite her terminal illness, Bahati's visit gave Charity hope and solace.
After Charity's passing, Bahati referred to her as 'family' and expressed his grief on social media, saying,
#RIP_CHARITY It was the Most Painful Moment ever Since I came to this Music Ministry. Seeing One of us go back to Dust. You’re not my Fans, You’re My Family. And we will Stand Together even in the Darkest Hours!!!
Charity was laid to rest in Murang'a, with Bahati in attendance.
