A leading gospel artist was asked to perform at a church in North Rift, but the request took an unexpected turn when the artist referred the Bishop to his manager.

Demands for Appearance Fee and Air Ticket

The Bishop, reportedly shocked by the referral, spoke with the manager, who then demanded KES 100,000 for a 15-minute appearance and a first-class air ticket to and from Eldoret.

According to The Kenyan DAILY POST, the Bishop's approach to the artist was met with a response to talk to the manager, leading to the demands for the appearance fee and air ticket.

"The leading North Rift bishop approached the artiste to ask him to visit his church. The artiste said ‘talk to my manager’. The bishop left in disbelief after the artistes’ manager demanded Sh100,000 for a 15-minute appearance and first class return air ticket to Eldoret,"
