A man from Vihiga County reportedly injured his genital area following a dispute with his wife, according to the statement.
The incident allegedly occurred after the man's wife called him "useless" during an argument. The man then locked himself in the bedroom and attempted to mutilate his genital area with a knife.
He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where doctors are attempting to reconstruct the damaged area. It is reported that the man did not completely sever his genital area.
