Violet Nduku Wambua was arrested at the Central Police station for failing to pay debts totaling Ksh. 500,000, according to the original account.
The arrest occurred as she was preparing to host the Networking in Heels event at the Nairobi Safari Club.
It is alleged that she owes The Norfolk Ksh. 210,000 and another Ksh. 315,000 to Sarova Stanley. The statement claims she had been scheduling her events at different hotels to avoid paying her dues.
