Lugari Leaders Voice Opposition to Forest Settlement Plans

Likuyani MP Enock Kibunguchi and Lugari MP Ayub Savula have expressed opposition to plans for settling people within a forest area. They made these comments while addressing mourners in Lugari on Saturday.

The two MPs alleged that the government intends to resettle individuals on part of an 8,000-hectare area without informing local residents.
