These updates have caused speculation about what the politician could be planning, referred to as a 'storm'. Robert Alai, an online figure associated with Raila Odinga, has made an allegation regarding the suspicious updates.
Robert Alai stated that a person called Aron Shaviv is said to be holding the account illegally and has been demanding that Raila Odinga pay him around $42,000. If the payment is not made, Aron Shaviv allegedly threatened to use the page to damage Raila Odinga's personal reputation.
According to Robert Alai, the police, NSIS, and Facebook security have been informed, and Raila Odinga is waiting for action from the security agencies to shut down the page. The alleged hacker, Aron Shaviv, is said to be known to one Apollo Orengo.
