South Korea's president Park Geun-Hye has expressed regret for carrying libido-enhancing drugs, including Viagra, during a state visit to Nairobi in November 2016.
According to reports, Park Geun-Hye apologized on the final day of the hearing as the Constitutional Court concluded hearings on her fate.
During her visit to Kenya, Park Geun-Hye was accompanied by nearly 200 people, including government officials and businessmen. She met with President Uhuru Kenyatta to boost trade and strengthen ties between the two countries.
Park Geun-Hye blamed her personal assistant, Choi Soon Sil, for the incident, which involved carrying over 364 pills, including 60 blue Viagra pills and a generic version of the drug.
The Constitutional Court's decision on indictments for all suspects embroiled in the scandal, including executives from Samsung Group, South Korea's largest conglomerate, was expected to be made shortly after the hearing.
