Esther Passaris stated that it is disappointing for a trusted newspaper like the Sunday Standard to have reporters who are preemptive and not factually correct in the content of their reporting.
According to Passaris, the purported new buyer who took ownership in July never informed her of their purchase. Instead, they hired a group of people to cut down a hedge and open a section of the fence so trucks can drop ballast and sand. The alleged new owner wants to put up a wall but failed to follow due process to notify her of his position and intentions.
Passaris mentioned that no gate was brought down and expressed confusion about whether the administrator of the estate had sold the property, given that they collected payments for September, October, and November.
The incident has been an eye-opener for Passaris, highlighting how values and character are eroded daily due to failed institutions and corrupt dealings. She stated that she will do what is right within the law and learn from the process, aiming to contribute to positive changes by sharing her experiences.
