A confrontation broke out at the Nakuru County Assembly after a man, reportedly a stranger, joined the press gallery.
Some ward representatives, who claimed to be opposed to Speaker Susan Kihika, demanded that the man leave, alleging he was sent to take photos of MCAs opposed to the speaker so she could punish them.
However, another group of MCAs insisted that the man, said to be a police officer, should stay.
