According to Inspector General Joseph Boinnet, Simon Muturi, also known as Birarutosha, Terminator, or Corroboster, is the man who killed Jacob Juma. Muturi, a former police officer, allegedly shot Jacob Juma 10 times near Lenana School earlier this month.
Investigations revealed that Muturi was involved in a kidnapping incident, where the daughter of former politician Kenneth Matiba, Ivy, was taken. The Flying Squad trailed the gang and sprayed them with bullets near Nyayo Stadium. Muturi's lifeless body was found inside the car, along with an AK 47 rifle.
A forensic examination of the rifle revealed that it was the same gun used to kill Jacob Juma. This discovery was made after the Flying Squad recovered the AK 47 from the gang.
