Former presidential candidate Mohamed Abduba Dida has launched his Tunza coalition, marking his return to the political scene and a second attempt at the presidency.
The coalition consists of Dida's Alliance for Real Change party and Prof George Wajackoyah's Roots Party of Kenya (RPK). Dida describes himself as the only challenger to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Dida joins other recent entrants in the presidential race, including lawyer Philip Murgor, who announced his candidacy last month, and Nyamira Senator Okongo Mongare, who is expected to launch his bid in two weeks.
