Published on July 23, 2019, Diamond Platnumz has spoken candidly about his past behavior, revealing that he was lucky to have escaped without contracting any STIs or HIV.

The Bongo Flava singer, who is now an advocate for safe sex through a campaign between Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) and Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (TACAIDS), made the admission while speaking to students at Musoma Utalii College in Tabora.

According to Diamond Platnumz, he was reckless in his younger days, but managed to avoid any consequences. He said, "If I must be honest, I played around. I played a lot, but was lucky enough to escape without any consequences."

Now that he has settled down with Tanasha Donna, Diamond Platnumz has vowed to never return to his reckless ways, using his platform to educate others about the importance of safe sex.
