The Nairobi Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Eastern Africa, has announced a career opportunity for a Lecturer in Emergency Nursing.
The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, possess a solid work ethic, and be a team player able to add value to both clinical and non-clinical practice.
The successful candidate will report to the Principal, School of Nursing, and be responsible for providing quality instruction and integrating emergency nursing theory and practice, participating in curriculum development and review, organizing lesson plans and teaching resources, setting and marking examinations, supervising students, and contributing to research and professional conferences.
Key Qualifications and Experience ¶
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Diploma in Advanced Nursing, KRN, or KRCHN.
- A Higher National Diploma or equivalent in Emergency Nursing is required.
- At least five years of work experience, including two years in teaching, is necessary.
- Excellent instructional skills and good mentoring and counseling skills are also essential.
